Beautiful Austin

Austin is Lively

Austin’s nightlife scene is known far and wide for its quality and quantity. In fact, the city declares itself to be the Live Music Capital of the World. Live music venues abound all around Austin.

Sixth Street is known for its continuous party atmosphere and you’ll find locals mixing with the nightlife crowd at venues such as Antone’s, Continental Club or Stubb’s. Or if you want, you can dine outdoors and take in a show among the oaks at highly acclaimed The Backyard.

Austin is Sporty

The University of Texas at Austin is not only a world-class center of education and innovation, it’s home to some of the country’s best sports programs. In particular, The UT football program has a long tradition of excellence, earning several national championships — the most recent in 2005. Tickets to Longhorn football games are prized throughout Central Texas.

Austin is Natural

Nature and its beauty have been beloved by area residents for as long as there has been an Austin. Austin was established along the banks of the Colorado River amid cliffs and bends and springs. Barton Springs and Hamilton Pool are two popular watering holes frequented by Austinites.

The city of Austin maintains an extensive portfolio of park properties, including Zilker Park, the Barton Creek Greenbelt, Hike and Bike Trail, Zilker Botanical Gardens, and scores of neighborhood parks. In addition, you’ll find state parks, sculpture gardens caves, caverns, a wildflower center and natural rock formations all within a hour’s drive of downtown. If that weren’t enough, several areas around Austin are preserved and protected, providing large swaths of park lands for residents even as the Austin metropolitan area grows.

Austin is Home

When it comes down to it, the question isn’t proximity to this or that amenity. The question is whether you’ll feel comfortable calling Austin “home.” Every area neighborhood has a personality all its own. From “quirky” to “natural,” from “sporty” to “lively” you can find it in Austin, and I can help.
